Michelle, a British Acupuncture Council member and a mother-of-two is very passionate in supporting couples trying to conceive.  She investigates every aspect of a woman’s health history and habits to determine which organs and meridians are out of balance, and then recommends a regimen of acupuncture, exercise, relaxation techniques and/or dietary changes to restore equilibrium to her body. When a woman’s body is restored to balance, the hormones needed for conception and pregnancy are produced the way nature intended.

Acupuncture offers a natural way to support your efforts to get pregnant. Acupuncture can improve your overall health and well-being, strengthen the organs and systems vital to reproduction, help to heal specific conditions that may affect your fertility (i.e. PCOS, Endometriosis) and even support Western-based reproductive technology such as IUI and IVF.

Traditional Chinese medicine describes the female reproductive system as a network of energy systems with complementary organs and hormonal responses. This network responds to stress, chemicals, lack of exercise, poor eating, and excess emotions, all of which can put the body off balance. Even a slight aberration can throw the entire system off so that it no longer functions smoothly. Yet, just as the body responds to negative influences, it also responds to gentle direction to return to balance.
One of the beauties of Eastern medicine is that there is no separation of mind, body, emotions and spirit, and acupuncture is based upon ministering to them all. Michelle believes this approach is more in alignment with the body’s own design. She also believes that because acupuncture focuses on restoring balance to the entire body, it can serve as a valuable adjunct to Western medical technology.

If you have to cancel a session you need to give 24 hours notice or a fee will be charged.
