I am chartered with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council(HCPC). I am fully committed and work according to the professional ethics and values of the profession. I have over 20 years experience working as a psychologist, which has included working with individuals and families across a range of presenting difficulties and concerns in their lives.
Psychotherapy provides a confidential, caring and non-judgemental environment that could help one to better understand and change difficult areas in one’s life. I have a holistic and humanistic approach to therapeutic work. My preferred model of counselling is integrative, which allows me to use different approaches and learning from different models so it can be best suited to you.
I offer counselling in the following areas, although this is not an exhaustive list: Relationships, loss and bereavement, anxiety, depression, anger, self-esteem and confidence, childhood issues, abuse.
I am also EMDR trained and can also use this modality in my work.
