Rita founded Peachy Acupuncture in 2013, having trained in the UK, China, Thailand and Vietnam. Rita has taught acupuncture to students at the College of Chinese Medicine, has volunteered in India treating field workers, and travelled to Dubai as a visiting practitioner at the Keyani Wellness Centre.

She runs a successful practice in Crouch End.

Rita is a highly empathic practitioner and her experience is eclectic and wide ranging. Rita has trained in various styles of acupuncture including dry needling, Tuina remedial massage (chinese osteopathy), Cupping and Guasha. She is one of a handful of practitioners in the UK who use Tok Sen, a Thai healing treatment of meridian tapping.

Rita specializes in acute or chronic pain of any kind; musculoskeletal (back, neck, shoulders, sciatica, knees, plantar fasciitis), migraine, trigeminal neuralgia, TMJ etc using both acupuncture, tuina remedial massage, cupping & guasha).

She has a track record in treating emotional health, digestive issues, insomnia, fatigue, vertigo/labrynthitis, hayfever, neurological issues and women’s healthcare. She uses auricular acupuncture to aid detox from addictions such as smoking, drinking, drug and weight issues.

Facial cosmetic acupuncture is a wonderful, toxin free alternative to invasive surgical treatments, promoting collagen, reducing lines, toning and enhancing facial contours. This is combined with a relaxing facial rejuvenation massage and ideally requires a block of six treatments.

Acupuncture and TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) is a system of medicine that harnesses the body’s natural resources to heal itself. It’s an immensely powerful but subtle therapy that has been practiced in China for thousands of years. Acupuncture is safe and effective: the benefits are proven and the subject of many scientific trials. This genuinely holistic approach is what sets TCM apart from Western medicine, however it also works to complement any medical healthcare you may be undergoing.
