Yoga for Beginners / Yoga for Low Energy / Desk Antidote Yoga
I am a teacher of Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga. I’ve been a yoga practitioner for nearly a decade, initially experimenting with practice when trying to find a sustainable way to move my body regularly after eating disorder recovery. As the years passed and I kept coming back to the mat, I continued to receive gifts from yoga - A calmer mental state, a sense of ease, improved stamina, true rest. I finally enjoyed being in my body, and trusted what it told me. My practice evolved as I took more in-depth courses in yoga asanas and meditation, culminating in travelling to India to complete my yoga teacher training in the Himalayan tradition.
Since graduating I’ve taught classes each week across North London. I focus on pleasure through movement, combining playful vinyasa flows with longer-held postures. It’s important to me that students get to choose what feels best for their bodies, so I’ll always provide options and modifications. Expect to tune in and feel good.
All classes taught by me at the Haelan Studio require the ability to move from seated to standing using props, a wall or a chair. If you’d like to find me on social media, sign up for my classes or get in touch, you can find me at https://linktr.ee/yogawithraerae

Yoga for Beginners, Mondays from 10am-11am (£10 per person)
Join me for an in-person yoga class series for people newer to the practice. These are hour-long introductory sessions which will take you through fundamentals of a flowing yoga sequence, as well as traditional poses and breathing techniques. Modifications will be offered as you practise each pose.
A beginner class can be a great way to dip your toe into the yoga waters. I'd recommend taking around five classes at this level before signing up for classes which require a little more experience, but feel free to continue taking beginner classes until you feel ready to graduate!
Yoga for Low Energy, Mondays from 11:15am to 12:15pm (£10 per person)
Join me for a gentle, in-person yoga class to soothe the nervous system and feel better in our bodies. This is an hour-long class suitable for new and experienced yogis alike, where we'll be aiming to gradually boost our mood and energy throughout the practice.
This practice is perfect for those who have been dealing with low mood or low energy, whether that be due to mental health issues, chronic fatigue, or other long-term conditions. It’s important to me that students have absolute autonomy over their practice, so I’ll always give you options that allow you to choose what’s best for your body.
If you have any concerns about practising gentle yoga due to your health, please consult a medical professional. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions about the class.
Desk Antidote Yoga, Tuesdays at 5pm and 6:15pm (£10 per person)
Join me for an energising yoga class to end your working day! This is an hour-long flowing movement practice, designed to get you out of the mind and into the body, and is the perfect sequence for those who are looking to inject some physical activity into an otherwise sedentary day. This class requires some (though not tons!) of yoga experience, and the ability to move from seated to standing using props, a wall or a chair.
