Slow Flow Yoga
Slow Flow / Fridays (term time) / 9:30am - 10:30am / Haelan Centre (upper studio)
My aim is to hold a safe, encouraging, non-judgemental space where each individual can practise at their own pace, and experience yoga practise as their own. Slow flow classes will help create a balanced, strong and flexible body, cultivating breath awareness to create a peaceful, calm mind. All levels are welcome and no previous experience necessary as modifications and adjustments are given. Expect a warm welcome in a non-competitive environment.
Cost: £13 drop-in, or £50 for 5w block (£60 - 6w block or £70 - 7w block - depending on length of school term).
Hi, I’m Jos, mum of two and a yoga teacher. I teach weekly group yoga classes in Crouch End and Muswell Hill, and Private one 2 one yoga sessions in North London. I’ve been practising yoga for over 14 years. Initially it was something to do, a way to move my body. My practice deepened after the birth of my second child, nearly 10 years ago. Like many parents with small children I felt exhausted, mentally and physically - yoga has been my lifeline and gave me much needed time to reflect, release tension and stop mind chatter. Yoga taught me how to be more present, patient, how to listen to my body, how to breathe (something we all take for granted). As I began to feel the transformation yoga had in my life I felt inspired to share yoga with others. My teaching style is very intuitive and mindful, yet strong - I aim to create an uplifting, safe environment for students to begin to explore and expand within their own body and consciousness. I strongly believe that maintaining a mindful practice and restoring the mind-body-soul connection teaches us how to live a fulfilling, healthy, and happy life on and off the yoga mat. I first qualified to teach Yoga with Yoga London in 2014 (Vinyasa Flow 200RTY) under the guidance of Holly Warren. Since than I had taken further 100h Apprentice Module with Yoga London, Pregnancy & Postnatal Yoga with Nadia Narain at Triyoga and Restorative Yoga with Judith Hanson Lasater.
