Julia Moore

I began my study of yoga at sixth form college in 1988. Since this time, my home yoga practice has been a huge support in life, enabling me to move more freely and steadily through life's ups and downs.

I am thankful that, after many years of searching for a teacher, I discovered Jenny Beeken and the Inner Yoga Trust, with whom I completed my Teacher's Foundation and Teacher's Awareness Certificate. Instead of following a set of predetermined instructions, I was encouraged to develop and use my intuition allowing my practice and teaching to become more sensitive and adaptable to individual needs. I am also certified by the British Wheel of Yoga (BWY).

I continue to gain nourishment and inspiriation from the network of highly regarded yoga teachers linked to the Inner Yoga Trust. Drawing on this knowledge, as well as the insights gained working as a health advisor for the Haelan Centre for over ten years, I design themed classes, courses and workshops which enable students to move towards health, wellbeing and emotional balance.

Mel Softley

“Yoga came into my life during a difficult period following the birth of my second child.  This initial experience of yoga was felt as a terrific relief both to my mind and my body, and gave me a profound sense of coming home to myself.  During ten years as a student and teacher, I've personally experienced - and been privileged to witness - the powerful, yet subtle changes that yoga can bring to its practitioners of all ages and abilities. For me teaching yoga is a dynamic, ever evolving, process. I am constantly learning from my students, my peers and from many diverse and gifted practitioners . These teachings I pass on with passion, respect and joy”

Mel trained with the inner yoga trust for three years and is accredited and insured with the BWY.

Rosie Dores

I have been practising Yoga and meditation for 14 years and am currently studying for an MA in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction.
Practising Yoga and meditation has helped me to approach my life with greater calm and ease. Taking the time to listen to myself, to nourish my body and mind, has resulted in a greater sense of general well being. I am more able to keep life's changes and challenges in perspective and to take more response – ability for how I respond/react to life events.
I teach yoga with an emphasis on mindful attention, bringing awareness to the breath and also to the feelings, thoughts, emotions that arise within the practice. Asana  (postures), Pranayama (breathing) and Meditation (stilling the mind) give one the tools to learn about one self and to develop greater self-knowledge and understanding.
I continue to benefit greatly from my practices of Yoga and meditation and hope to be able to share both the benefits and continued learning with others.

Rosie teaches at the Haelan Studio on
Wednesdays from 9:30am - 11:00am

Please contact Rosie directly on 07906 717 409 if you would like to attend this class.
