Holistic Healing at the Haelan Centre
Holistic Healing is a hands-on healing method that works with the body
as a whole energy system, based on the ancient Indian holistic chakra system.
A wide range of physical or emotional symptoms and conditions can be treated,
such as:
- stress-related problems
- anxiety or depression
- insomnia
- joint/muscular pain
- chronic illness
- digestive disorders
- skin complaints
- respiratory problems
- pregnancy/post-natal conditions
- menstrual issues
Healing sessions are also ideal for a ‘pick-me-up' or energy boost, or
simply to promote a deep sense of relaxation for anybody of both sexes and
all ages.
Sessions are particularly useful for women with menstrual problems, as well
as for pregnant women, to help ease physical or emotional discomfort and for
support before or after child-birth.
What happens during a session?
A session will usually last about an hour, which includes some discussion/counselling
time before and after treatment. Clients remain fully clothed throughout
a session. Treatment usually involves the client lying down. The therapist
works by placing her hands on particular areas of the body and the surrounding
energy field, sometimes using massage strokes.
What are the benefits and how many treatments
will I need?
You may experience immediate results after one session, or treatment may
involve a course of sessions. Sometimes there can be a period of adjustment
after a treatment. Most people attain a state of deep relaxation and well-being
as the result of a healing session.
