General Yoga Classes
Classical Yoga is Hatha Yoga in the traditional style, suitable for all levels. An active and insightful yoga class of Postures (asana), Pranayama (breath control), Relaxation and Meditation (dhyana), and Kriya techniques are thoroughly taught.

Inner Yoga is a subtle, yet deep form of Hatha Yoga, suitable for all levels. The emphasis is on enquiry, exploration and holistic movement - the whole body working together. Classes vary in intensity but the teacher ensures that the pace is suitable for everyone, adapting for those who need more or less of a challenge. All Inner Yoga teachers train currently with Sophy Hoare, a direct student of Vanda Scaravelli. Julia and Mel have completed additional training in teaching meditation and therapeutic yoga.

This class is a yoga class with a particular emphasis on introducing meditation as a practice. It is suitable for those new to meditation or those who would like a a quiet medatitative yoga class at the end of the day.
Meditation can greatly enhance one's ability to stay clam in stressful situations and become more in tune with the flow of life. Meditation also helps to undo habitual patterns such as muscular tension, worry, addiction, anger and many other emotional states which do not serve us.
The class starts with yoga postures to prepare our bodies and minds to sit in meditation, then we sit for between 5 and 15 minutes together in both silent and guided meditation. There is always the option to meditate sitting in a chair or lying down, should you feel uncomfortable or unable to sit on the floor.

Mindful Yoga is a medatative form of Hatha Yoga - Rosie has completed a training with a direct student of Vanda Scaravelli and also teaches workshops on Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction as taught by John Kabat-Zinn.

Restorative and Therapeutic Yoga is a form of Hatha Yoga that is ideal for those seeking a more restful practice or for those who have long term underlying ailments or injuries. It is an ideal practice for anyone suffering from stress related conditions. Please note: it may be necessary to consult your doctor before attending these classes, do have a chat with the teacher before coming to your first class.
