Breathing and Movement
To breathe you use muscles that attach to your ribs and lower back and involve your chest, shoulders and pelvis too. When you do almost anything you move in all these same places as well. So the way you do something affects your breathing and the way you breathe can limit or improve the way you are able to do things. Interested? come and try. £35/£30
This workshop is ideal for everyone. Early booking is recommended, maximum of 8 students in the class. Ring or email Victoria to book.

Sunday March 30th 10:30 - 3:30pm
Walking (and Running) with Your Whole Self
When you walk (or run) everything needs to move and adjust from the 26 bones in your feet to the vertebrae in your neck. A workshop to feel how it all fits together so you can walk to the shops (or train for the 10k) with more ease, comfort (and speed).
(For all levels of movement skill.) £30/25

Dynamic Posture
So what is good posture? Is it a specific position with a clear set of rules we can make ourselves follow? Or can we think about it differently: a way of being upright in gravity; a relationship to the ground; a point of balance between movements; a way of using ourselves to make everything we do easier and more enjoyable?
(For all levels of movement skill.) £30/25

From Lying to Standing – big movements with ease
As a child you did it easily, many times a day; as an adult whatever you do (from dancing, to housework to finding your biro under the desk) it is fundamental to your life; as you get older it is one of the most important skills to keep: the ability to get up and down from the floor easily . A day to re-find (or refine) some of the most important bigger movements we use (or avoid) every day.
