Haelan 951Haelan 951 is a fermented soya drink. The manufacturers of this product claim that it has beneficial properties for those suffering from cancer and going through chemotherapy treatment. The Haelan Centre does not endorse or recommend this product. It is prohibitively expensive, and it is not clear whether or not it is manufactured from organic soya, which is the only type of soya that can safely be described as GM-free. For more information on soya, see Soya and Health. If you, or a close relative or friend, are suffering from cancer we recommend that you find a nutritionist who is familiar with the Gerson Therapy. Our nutritionist Sam Flower is a member of the Gerson Institute and writes regularly for their newsletter. The Bristol Cancer Help Centre is also a fantastic place to visit for courses, advice on dietary change and complementary therapies, which can help to support patients through their healing process.
