Hypnotherapy and EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique)

The Benefits of Hypnosis
We each have our own unique outlook on life. Our behaviour is governed by our beliefs and our patterns of living. Although we might be aware of patterns that may be limiting us, we are often unsure of how we can alter them to our benefit. Hypnotherapy can help us to learn to utilise our inner resources to create a rich, rewarding and fulfilling life.

The Session
At the beginning of the session, the Hypnotherapist will discuss any issues you need to work on. Any information you pass on will be held in complete confidence. This process alone is generally very therapeutic. Many people will not have discussed their fears or apprehensions prior to this session. It is the first step to making those positive changes in your life.

The Hypnotherapist will then guide you into a state of deep relaxation. Whilst in this state, you mind will be able to function more effectively. Your subconscious mind is then able to make the necessary changes towards enhanced feelings of health and well being on every level.

Many people think that the Hypnotherapist is controlling the client during a session. This is not the case at all. It is impossible for anybody to be hypnotized against their will. The Hypnotherapist is simply working with you to make the beneficial changes that need to be made. You are always in control during the process. If at any time you feel uncomfortable, you are free to interrupt or terminate the session.

Whilst in a state of hypnosis the deep mental relaxation you experience should feel very pleasant. You mind will remain very clear no matter how deep you go. You will be in control of everything you say. The fact that you are much less inhibited means that you will feel comfortable discussing issues that you may otherwise find difficult to deal with, whilst in a conscious state.

What is Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)?
This relatively new and exciting therapy is proving to be amazingly successful in the treatment of psychologically rooted issues. It is based on the unblocking and releasing of energy flow through the meridians, as with acupuncture. Unlike acupuncture it is a non-invasive therapy that relies on tapping the meridian point, rather than the insertion of needles.

EFT works on the premise that all thoughts or feelings of a negative nature are linked to the mind/body energy system. These thoughts or feelings are often programmed into our memory, causing an imbalance on a mental and/ or physical level. The process of unblocking such thoughts through EFT restores the body’s natural balance. This allows the free flow of life energy, which can then promote healing for mind body and soul.

EFT is an especially valuable therapeutic tool:

  • It is painless, non-invasive and long-lasting
  • It is easily learnt, can be used by anyone, and can be self-applied
  • It is a highly effective method which has proven successful where other therapies have failed.

EFT in Practice
This gentle technique involves the tapping of 14 meridian points on the body using the fingertips. The beauty of this method is that it can be practiced anywhere by anyone. Your EFT Therapists will show you where you need to tap and will give you an information sheet so that you can practice at home.

During a session you may choose to do your own tapping or your Therapist can do it for you. Your Therapist will then discuss the issue(s) you wish to deal with. She will help you to create an affirmative sentence (a kind of mantra) which will be repeated as you tap out the issue in question. The tapping sequence in repeated until you can feel a noticeable change in your response to the issue.

Smoking and Additions - Rebalancing your life

Life can often seem like something of an emotional rollercoaster. The human mind has a remarkable way of dealing with both positive and negative experiences. However, sometimes we find ourselves unable to deal effectively with the many challenges that come our way. It is often easy for people to fall into patterns of dependency as a means of coping with their problems.

Smoking and other damaging addictive habits have become a way of life for many. However, instead of helping, they only add to our problems. No one wants to feel dependent on substances or on obsessive behavioural patterns. But it can be hard to break away from an unhealthy routine which may have become part of our daily lives.

Addictions and obsessive behaviour are the result of a mental and often physiological imbalance. Very often they can be traced back to past emotional experiences. Whatever the cause, Hypnotherapy and EFT can achieve astonishing results in resolving these issues permanently. Just one session can effectively deal with any negative thought patterns. Experiencing the benefits of these therapies will provide the support you need to restore the balance and harmony that you deserve in your life.

Take Control of Your Life
Hypnotherapy and EFT are totally safe and natural ways to make important and necessary changes inyour life. They help to release traumas and any buried fears. These are dealt with in a positive way. Just one session can help resolve any problems or life challenges, enabling you to progress in your journey to self-healing. Both are useful tools in helping you to achieve your full potential in life.
