Gaia Healing
My work with energy healing and gaia is based on the principle that any
imbalance of energy will play a major part in creating dis-ease. The vital
flow of energy is essential for health. This forms the basis of many streams
of eastern and western thought and can be understood as chi, prana or
spirit. As such it is based on the concept, like other energetic therapies
that we live in a world where there is universal energy.
The therapy focuses the universal energy through touch; and with this
restores equilibrium, wellbeing and harmony. This is particularly important
when many of us lead busy stressful lives in modern, urban environments.
Gaia and the eternal light system of healing works in a similar way to
reiki, utilizing a deeper level of energy – gaia is the earth element
healing ray.
An energy healing session can last between 30 minutes to one hour. The
client lies fully clothed as the practitioner works on and around the
body. This creates a wonderful sense of deep relaxation, peace and revitalized
energy as the body, mind and spirit are brought back into balance. Some
may experience old emotions surfacing as blockages are released.
