Miscarriage / Fertility Difficulties CounsellingHelping you to explore your feelings at a difficult time, in a supportive and confidential setting. When you want to have a baby and it just doesn't happen, the months tick by and it still doesn't happen, the pain and frustration can become hard to bear. Most of us take it for granted that we will be able to have children. We often hear that approximately one in four pregnancies ends in miscarriage.
Yet for each women it is a deeply personal experience. From either of these experiences, sometimes we need to find a way to cope with the confustion, vulnerability and emotional isolation that can follow. We may also need help to think through ongoing treatment, or there could be difficult decisions to be make. The feelings surrounding the experiences of fertility difficulties or
pregnancy loss are often very strong. Counselling offers an opportunity to talk thing through with a trained, objective counsellor with understanding and experience. Jo Simon practices Counselling for Miscarriage / Fertility Difficulties at the Haelan Centre.
